Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Lisa Taddiken. I am a mother of three children, two of whom were educated at home from first grade through the completion of high school. Over the past six years I have helped my own children and other students successfully complete the search for the right college, apply for scholarships, meet requirements, and finalize paperwork. Helping students make a smooth transition into college has become a passion of mine. I firmly believe that every young adult possesses unique talents and is deserving of higher educational opportunities. My experiences teaching at a private academy, managing a customer service department, and volunteering in the community all lend themselves to working with students and their families.
Our mission is to inform families about the college admissions process.
My son, Christopher,
is a college student pursuing a Dance degree with a
concentration in choreography along with a second major in
Mathematics/Programming.Having recently
been through the college admissions process, he is empathetic with high school
students exploring entrance to college and is always willing to offer advice. Christopher has danced both professionally and at college; therefore, he is
well versed in regards to the supplementary admission requirements and variety of options available to
aspiring dancers. In
addition to being a full time student, he owns a web hosting company and
contributes to the community by offering low cost websites for non-profits and small
businesses. The culmination of his experiences allows Christopher to confidently work with young adults entering a new phase of life.
Armed with information, parents and teens will be able to work with school counselors towards achieving educational goals.
Let our years of experience work for you. We spend hours upon hours
researching the latest college trends, searching for scholarships, and
staying up to date on requirements.
Recently "A Path to College" was awarded 25th place in StartupNation's Leading Moms in Business Competition. Hundreds of women entrepreneurs competed for a spot in the top 200. After the votes were tallied and interviews complete, we were successful in receiving national recognition through Ladies Who Launch and StartupNation. We would like to extend a huge thank-you to all of those who supported us during our first year of business.
