News and Announcements
Class of 2010 |
Attention all seniors - it is time to get those applications finalized. Fall is the optimal time to apply to, college, even at colleges with rolling admissions. In order to receive the best scholarship offerings, submit all necessary material before the middle of November. Stay in contact with your school adviser and politely follow up with teachers/counselors to insure transcripts, letters of recommendation, and supporting documents are forwarded to each college. For those who want to take the ACT one more time, to possibly qualify for scholarship money, visit www.act.org to register for the December test.
Also, it still isn't too late for early decision applications, but those deadlines will be coming up fast. The snow will be flying soon and spring will be here before you know it along with many more decisions to make. You have made it to your senior year now make every moment count!
All of our 2009 graduates were
admitted to every college applied to with scholarships, grants, and
generous financial aid packages.
Congratulations to everyone; all that hard work paid off!

Workshops |
We now offer workshops which provide an overview of the college admission process. Workshops can be customized to fit the specific needs of your group. For example if your group is interested in finding out what the college search involves for an athlete, dancer, performer, artist, musician, or homeschool student; we will go beyond the scope of the regular workshop and discuss those topics.
Workshops can also be tailored to fit the needs of 8th-11th grade students so that families are well versed in all the necessary terminology throughout the high school years. Participants will receive handouts,
educational brochures, and a complimentary CD with further explanations
regarding testing, financial aid, scholarships, recommended reading,
resources etc.
Knowing what tests will be taken when, what classes really count, and staying current on college topics is imperative as students progress through high school and begin the college search. Unfortunately, there is often a "disconnect" between schools, students, and parents when it comes to exchanging vital information. Our presentations and supplementary materials enable you to work with school counselors in order to make informed decisions and set realistic educational goals.
If you would like to schedule a workshop or attend an upcoming event, please feel free to contact Lisa to make arrangements.
